A Palestinian citizen, Shakour Abu Ghazala opened it in Saudi Arabia. He saw a need for a new recipe that serves fast and known for its high quality. Then, he first launched his branch in 1974.
The history started in 1974, a visionary Palestinian entrepreneur resident in Jeddah to do something for foodies. Then he started it with his restaurant named BROAST RESTAURANT in an old warehouse in Sharfiyah, Jeddah, in 1974.

Shakour Abu Ghazala first introduced the BROAST CHICKEN concept in Saudi Arabia. Suddenly, he died, then his sons held the broast restaurant.
BROAST RESTAURANT then changed in AL BAIK by Ihsan Shakour Abu Ghazala, son of Shakour Abu Ghazala. The word AL BAIK is derived from Arabic, meaning ‘’my family’’. Over the years, it has been a famous fast-food chain all over the world with its halal, quick, and well-mannered service to the customers.
